His dedication and leadership create a lasting impact, making him a truly deserving Home Ground Hero.

Riki is a respected leader of Touch in Aotearoa, known not only for his excellence on the field but for the dedicated impact he has off it. From grassroots to elite level, he gives his time to grow the game and support others. A natural mentor, Riki creates positive environments where rangatahi feel challenged, supported and inspired to be their best, strengthening the culture of Touch.

Ike Tapine, Te Ohu Ikaroa

Ike is a tireless contributor to Touch in Aotearoa, giving his time and leadership to grow the game. Balancing elite play with grassroots commitment, he supports Wellington Touch through coaching, pathways and mentoring, helping tamariki, rangatahi and adults feel connected, supported and inspired.

Emma Puna, Te Waipounamu

Emma is the backbone of South Otago Touch, giving her time and heart to ensure the game continues to thrive for players and families across the region. As a long‑time team manager and committee chair, she organises, supports and steps up wherever needed. Emma always makes everyone feel welcome, included and supported making a meaningful difference in the Touch community.
