It has come to our attention that National Association Touch Rugby Australia (NATRA) are running their annual Trans Tasman touch tournament on 25^th/26^th October 2019 at Arkinstall Park Tweed Heads Australia.  

This organisation is not affiliated to Touch Football Australia and therefore their tournaments are not sanctioned by Touch Football Australia or Federation International Touch (FIT).

As a member of Federation International Touch, Touch NZ cannot and does not sanction this NATRA tournament, therefore anyone participating in this event is in breach of Touch NZ eligibility policy and becomes ineligible for Touch NZ National tournaments and selection into Touch NZ teams or referee squads.

We are not challenging anyone’s right to participate at this event, everyone is free to choose, however it would be remiss not to outline the consequences in terms of further participation at Touch NZ tournaments or selection into Touch NZ teams or referee squads including the upcoming Youth and Open Trans Tasman test series.
